A day at Cheltenham is about so much more than watching the racing. From enjoying your dedicated members’ area to getting close to the horses, exploring our bars and finding the perfect spot to watch the action, there’s plenty to discover around the racecourse. 

Wherever you choose to spend your day, your membership gives you a great base to enjoy everything Cheltenham has to offer. Insurance Bar Members have their own dedicated home on Level 3 of the Main Grandstand, complete with your own dedicated seat, giving you the perfect place to settle in and enjoy the racing throughout the day. You can also head outside and watch the action from the tiered steps outside the Princess Royal Stand. 

For Princess Royal Stand and Garrison Savannah Business Club Members, Level 1 of the Princess Royal Stand is your dedicated members’ area, including access to Big Buck’s. Meanwhile, Favourite and Desert Orchid Members have two dedicated areas to choose from: Istabraq on Level 3 of the Main Grandstand and the Members Marquee, located close to the Pre-Parade Ring. 

But you don’t have to stay in one place all day. 

Why not take a wander towards the Pre-Parade Ring and watch the horses being prepared before they head out onto the track? Then make your way towards the Parade Ring and soak up the atmosphere as the runners are saddled up before heading to the start. When it’s time for the race, find your favourite vantage point and enjoy the action. As a member, you can access the Sovereign Lounge for free on racedays, where you’ll find unreserved seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s another great option if you’re looking for somewhere to sit and enjoy the racing. 

The tiered steps outside the Princess Royal Stand also offer a fantastic view, while members with access to the Club Enclosure can explore the wider area and find their own favourite spot. 

Between races, why not explore some of Cheltenham’s bars? The recently updated Golden Miller and Tommy Atkins Bars are well worth a visit and offer another place to enjoy the race-day atmosphere.
