The Jockey Club is offering racing fans who donate £10 to the British Red Cross’s Ukraine Appeal the chance to win hospitality tickets to next Friday’s (March 18th) sold out Cheltenham Gold Cup Day.
The initiative will guarantee 24 lucky people a pair of tickets each in the Cheltenham Festival’s Club Enclosure for the most prestigious event in the Jump Racing calendar.
Once there they will enjoy an unbeatable view from the exclusive Hatton’s Grace Corporate Suite to watch the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup and the other six races on the card, complete with complimentary lunch and drinks.
The Jockey Club, which runs Cheltenham Racecourse, is supporting the charitable efforts of The British Red Cross in its response to the humanitarian crisis arising from the Russian invasion of Ukraine and making a donation of its own to the Red Cross’s Ukraine Appeal.
On the first day of The Festival (Tuesday 15th March), the Grade Two National Hunt Chase will also be run as The Ukraine Appeal National Hunt Chase. And the unique Cheltenham Gold Day ticket ‘raffle’ is a further move to help The British Red Cross raise funds and awareness to support people impacted and displaced by the invasion with necessities including food, water, first aid, medicines, warm clothes and shelter.
To enter, racing fans must pledge £10 each online to be entered into the draw for the tickets. There are no limits on how many times each person can donate £10, with each pledge providing another chance to win a pair of tickets and all proceeds going to the fund.
The ‘raffle’ closes at 3pm on Monday 14th March, with the winners notified by 6pm on the same day.
