Gold Cup Day at The Festival sold out

Press Release 15th February 2017 Cheltenham

Gold Cup Day, the fourth and final day of The Festival, Friday, March 17, is completely sold out in all enclosures at Cheltenham - Club, Tattersalls and Best Mate.

This has occurred two weeks earlier than last year, with badge and ticket sales very strong.

A limited amount of hospitality remains for Gold Cup Day, while there is still availability for the first three days of The Festival - Champion Day (Tuesday, March 14), Ladies Day (Wednesday, March 15) and St Patrick's Thursday (Thursday, March 16).

Ian Renton, Regional Director for the South West region of The Jockey Club, said today: "All three enclosures on Gold Cup Day are sold out and this has happened significantly earlier than in 2016.

"We have seen strong demand for badges and tickets across all four days of The Festival, not just Gold Cup Day, and look forward to welcoming racegoers in March."
