Cheltenham Racecourse is delighted to announce today that BetBright has renewed its sponsorship deal for another three years.
BetBright has sponsored the BetBright Cup at The Festival in March since its inauguration in 2015. The BetBright Cup is the competition which celebrates the Anglo-Irish rivalry across the four days of The Festival. The UK narrowly took the honours in 2015, while Ireland came out on top in both 2016 and 2017.
Also included in BetBright’s sponsorship portfolio at the Home of Jump Racing is the G2 BetBright Cotswold Chase, a leading trial for the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup, which takes place on Festival Trials Day in January.
Many Clouds took the honours in the 2015 BetBright Cotswold Chase prior to winning the Grand National later that season. He returned to win the contest again in 2017, when his bittersweet head victory over Thistlecrack subsequently earned the late chaser the accolade of being the best three-mile plus chaser in the Anglo-Irish Jump Classifications.
Conor White, Marketing Communications Manager at BetBright, said: “We are thrilled to renew our sponsorship with Cheltenham Racecourse for a further three years.
“As racing fans it has always been important to us to support and promote Jump racing. We’re also looking forward to the fourth instalment of the BetBright Cup next year and are hoping that the British contingent can launch a more serious challenge in 2018.”
Carey Buckler, Regional Head of Partnerships, Cheltenham & the South West, The Jockey Club, added: “It is excellent news that BetBright will continue to sponsor at Cheltenham for another three years.
“The BetBright Cup at The Festival has been a real success story, having cemented the age-old Anglo-Irish rivalry at The Festival into a competition in its own right. We look forward to continuing to work alongside the team at BetBright for the next three years.”
