The going for day three of The November Meeting at Cheltenham, Sunday 15 November, is:
Chase Course: Soft
Hurdle Course: Soft, Heavy in places
There was a total of seven millimetres of rain overnight. Further showers are forecast today.
Simon Claisse, Clerk of the Course at Cheltenham, said: “The rain that started yesterday afternoon persisted well into the evening, although it has now been dry since midnight.
“The going on the Chase Course remains Soft but the Hurdle Course is now Soft, Heavy in places.
“We have six races today, starting at 1.15pm. Races two to five are live on ITV and all of the action is live on Racing TV. The feature race is at 3.00pm, the Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle, with the locally-trained Ballyandy at the top of the weights.”
The hurdle course has been realigned in the home straight away from the stands' side rail between the bend and last hurdle to avoid an area of false ground.
Hurdle bends dolled out 11 yards (except the home turn at 2 yards), adding 53 yards to races over 2m.
All chase bends dolled out 7 yards, adding 44 yds to each circuit for races over 2m and 3m and 66 yards for races over 2½m.
Distances altered as follows:
Race 1 plus 88 yards
Race 2 plus 88 yards
Race 3 plus 44 yards
Race 4 plus 53 yards
Race 5 plus 53 yards
Race 6 plus 53 yards
