THE THREE CLUB HORSES

Charles St - Trained by Fergal O'Brien

4-Y-O B G - Outstrip X Under The Rainbow (Fantastic Light (USA))
22/23 Form Figures: 242222

Charles St had a successful Juvenile campaign in the 22/23 season, finishing 2nd on five occasions, collecting £11,196 worth of Prize Money in the process. Charles was unfortunate not to get his head in front, however he was very consistent & always ran with credit.

This Son of Outstrip by Dam Under The Rainbow rated 100 on the Flat, was purchased at Newmarket's August Tattersall Sales 2022 with the assistance of leading bloodstock agent, Anthony Bromley. The aim was for him to have a Juvenile campaign last season, which he’s done & will now compete in Novice & Handicap Hurdles, as well as the potential to run on the Flat.

Charles will provide enjoyable day’s out for members throughout the season. With the option of Flat, Novice & Handicap Hurdles over 2m & 2m4F, he’ll have plenty of races available to him. Fergal has started the 23/24 Season in great form & we hope the Gloucestershire based trainer can continue this form with Charles St. This season promises to be an exciting one!

FLIGHT OF FREEDOM - Trained by Emma Lavelle

5-Y-O B M - Getaway (GER) X Dahara (FR) (Take Risks (FR))
22/23 Form Figures: 265

Flight Of Freedom was purchased before the 22/23 season with the assistance of bloodstock agent, Gerry Hogan in Ireland from the well-regarded Marie Harding (Glen Stables) who has had great recent success with the likes of Noble Yeats & Lookaway.

Last season, she made a very pleasing racecourse debut at Ludlow in November, when finishing 2nd behind future Aintree Mares NHF Race winner Dysart Enos. After her great debut performance, she then came 6th when Favourite in a Huntingdon Mares NHF Race. Her third & final run of the season was here at Cheltenham where she ran a very pleasing race to finish 5th in a competitive affair.

In 22/23, she ran in three Mares Bumper’s to give her vital & essential racecourse experience. Now with runs under her belt, for the 23/24 season she’ll be aimed at Mare & Novice Hurdles over 2m & 2m4f. She’s a well-bred National Hunt Mare who should thrive over a Hurdle, so like her trainer Emma Lavelle, the Club is very much looking forward to the upcoming campaign.

MOONLIGHT ARTIST - Trained by Joe Tizzard

5-Y-O B G - Pether's Moon (IRE) X Karla June (Unfuwain (USA))
22/23 Form Figures: 03564

The Son of Pether’s Moon is a well-bred National Hunt Gelding who learnt plenty in a productive 22/23 season. He ran a total of five times, with his first two runs being in Bumpers. These runs gave him much needed experience which he transferred to Novice Hurdles.

From Sandown in February to Kempton in April, he ran in three Novice Hurdles, running well on each occasion, showing promise for the future. With these runs, he now has an official rating of 94, which he should be competitive off going into the 23/24 season.

The aim this season will be Novice Handicap Hurdles, where we hope he should give the Club some enjoyable days out. He’s certainly a horse for the future & should continue to improve as he gets older.
