The Randox Health Grand National is as much about fashion as it is about the racing and the ladies and gents of Liverpool take dressing for the races very seriously.
Outfits are planned long in advance and on all three days
While there is no official dress code, the accent is on smart and for ladies, hats are not compulsory but a popular addition.
Our style inspiration
The style code for the meeting is inspired by Coco Chanel and her maxim that if you
“dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman”.
Ladies Day Style Award
This year’s Style Award is your chance to win a brand new Range Rover Evoque and a year’s supply of dresses from style partner Chi Chi London.
