THE #GRANDNATIONALCUP

 

With racing in the UK and Ireland now suspended and this year’s Randox Health Grand National cancelled due to Covid-19, we could all sit around moping about the lack of action on the track.

 

Instead, The Jockey Club has launched the #GrandNationalCup on Twitter, giving YOU the chance to help crown the greatest ever winner of the race.

How it works?

 

We’re pitting the last 64 individual winners of the world’s most famous steeplechase against each other in a cup competition, with six knockout rounds being played over nine days.

 

The winner, voted for by our followers on Twitter and racing fans everywhere, will be crowned on the evening of Saturday 4th April, when this year’s Randox Health Grand National champion would have been confirmed for real.

 

So, whether you’re Tiger Roll’s biggest fan, Red Rum is your favourite horse ever to grace the Aintree turf or you think Aldaniti deserves to be crowned the greatest Grand National winner of all time, NOW is the time to have your say.

 

To take part all you need to do is head over to our @TheJockeyClub Twitter feed and start voting.
