Get ready for the roar of Cheltenham with a brilliant afternoon of racing at Wincanton Racecourse on Thursday 5 March 2026.
With seven superb races on the card, this is your chance to enjoy quality jump racing just days before the Festival begins. It’s the perfect warm-up fixture where form, talent, and festival hopefuls often collide.
Whether you're brushing up on your Festival tips, following the progress of familiar names, or simply looking for a great day out, this raceday combines top-class action with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the Somerset countryside.
Gather your friends and join us for an afternoon of fresh air, thrilling sport, and that all-important pre-Festival buzz. Plus, after racing, we’ll be hosting a special Cheltenham Preview Panel, offering insight, expert opinions, and plenty of Festival talk led by Martin Higgs. Jockey Lorcan Williams will be joining us on the panel, as well as Paul Nicholls' assistant trainer Charlie St Quinton and trainer David Pipe.
When you purchase a Cheltenham Preview Ticket, you’ll receive general admission for the day, plus access to the Kingwell Building after racing, where you can watch our expert panel discussion. Enjoy our popular Kingwell Curry while listening to insights from leading figures as we preview the Cheltenham Festival.
For those who have purchased our Preview Panel Ticket, please head to the Kingwell Building at 5:30pm.
