BETFRED 2000 GUINEAS DAY - 2 MAY

The party doesn’t stop when the racing ends…

Join us for an unforgettable post-race performance with Shuffle - a high-energy funk, pop and soul band bringing serious festival vibes to the track.

Expect feel-good anthems, mash-ups and dancefloor classics from artists like Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5 and The Weeknd, all delivered with electric chemistry and big-stage energy.

Shuffle will be playing on stage on the Hyperion Lawn for approx 75 mins following the last race.

A few facts about the 2000 Guineas

The 2000 Guineas is a Group 1 race open to three-year-old colts, staged on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket over one mile.

The 2026 2000 Guineas will be staged on Saturday 2 May 2026.


The 2000 Guineas Stakes are scheduled to run at approximately 3:40pm.

In 2025 Ruling Court landed the 2000 Guineas.
