At Wincanton Racecourse

We are delighted to welcome owners back to Wincanton Racecourse for our 2021/22 season. Following the implementation of Step 4 of the UKGOV roadmap for the easing of COVID restrictions in England on Monday 19th July, we are delighted to be able to offer you a raceday experience more similar to what you have previously been used to, however, we will continue to encourage some protocols to help us provide a safe environment and COVID mitigations.

Our badge allocation for Owners are:

  • 6 badges for a sole owners
  • 8 badges for a syndicate or partnership

These badges will entitle each bearer access to the Owners & Trainers bar which serves complimentary hot and soft drinks throughout the day. A meal voucher will be given to each ticket holder which will provide one complimentary meal. Please note that we are now running cashless bars across our site. Any additional alcoholic drinks you would like to purchase will need to be paid by card.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer further owners badges than the above allocation due to capacity restrictions.

Syndicate Managers; if you require more than 8 tickets please contact our Owners liaison who can exchange these Owners tickets for additional Premier badges. Please note that Premier badges will not give the bearer access to the Owners & Trainers Bar, Parade Ring or Winners Enclosure.

Please note we are happy to provide general admission tickets to owners who horses do not declare. Please contact our Owners liaison who can organise this with you.

ROA members without a runner are also entitled to two general admission tickets per raceday.

Owners & Trainers parking is located next to our stables. Please see our map below for further details.

The dress code for Owners' and Trainers' attending a raceday at Wincanton Racecourse is smart casual. We also recommend you dress for the weather.

The Owners' and Trainers' Hospitality suite is on the first floor of the Kingwell Building with excellent views overlooking The Parade Ring. We offer locally sourced food along with large screen TV allowing close scrutiny of the races as they unfold. Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing is available to watch.

All Owners' and Trainers' badge holders will receive a voucher with their badge for a complimentary meal in the dedicated hospitality suite for Owners' and Trainers'. These vouchers will also be valid for use in the Badger Bar but not at any of the concession units.

All winning owners are presented with a special memento of their win at Wincanton Racecourse

We also provide you with a photograph from our racecourse photographer, Matthew Webb and a special card that opens to reveal a replay video of your race.

You will also be welcome to join the committee in the Winning Connections to re-watch the race and celebrate.
