British Fencing has been looking to create an operational model that is as efficient as possible and this appointment will see Jockey Club Services manage transactional processing, treasury, debtor management and financial reporting for the next three years.

Georgina Usher, CEO of British Fencing

"We have seen a number of other NGB’s outsource various business services to Jockey Club Services and the feedback has been exceptionally positive. Over the last few months British Fencing has gone through a substantial change and in order to remain competitive and do as professional job as possible, we have had to embrace the transition within the organisation. We need to become more efficient while reducing costs and we clearly see JCS as a partner who will not only deliver a professional service across all financial elements of our business, but as a partner who we can trust to help us on a wider basis as we aim to achieve some challenging objectives."

Rob Quick, Director of Jockey Club Services
, said:

“British Fencing has clearly had a challenging few months, but it is clear that they are only looking forward and are embracing a new model required to effectively manage an NGB in the next funding cycle.

"JCS will work closely with Georgina and British Fencing’s Finance Director, David Moseley, to deliver a rigorous and professional outsource solution that will work fantastically well for Fencing, and has already been proven with Table Tennis England and England Squash to date. We really look forward to working closely with British Fencing to help their drive for continued operational efficiency.”
