Everyone remembers the record-breaking mare that won six times at The Cheltenham Festival, Quevega. Today her four-year-old filly makes her debut at Tramore Racecourse. Princess Vega will be ridden by Magners Gold Cup Winning Jockey Paul Townend in the 2m Maiden Hurdle at 2:05.

Princess Vega is trained by Willie Mullins and owned by Hammer & Trowel Syndicate. She is said to jump well, and they’re looking forward to getting her started.

We look forward to following Princess Vega during her racing career, and who knows, she may make a new record for The Cheltenham Festival?

Good luck Princess Vega, Paul, and Willie!
