Christmas is Coming and We’re Getting Festive

Blog 11th December 2019 Cheltenham

Christmas is coming and we're getting in the festive spirit at The International, our two-day race meeting on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th.

Gather your close friends and family, grab your favourite festive Christmas jumper and make your way down to the Racecourse for two excellent days out at the Cheltenham races. Those who don their favourite festive jumper will be in with the chance of winning on-the-spot prizes. These include official The Festival™ presented by Magners tickets, hospitality, betting vouchers, food and drink vouchers and much more! What better way to get you in the festive spirit?

Don’t miss out on taking a trip to our shopping village, click here to view the tradestands and kick-start your Christmas shopping the right way. The cherry on the festive cake will be performances by The Midlife Choir-Sis and The Scouts Choir singing traditional Christmas songs around the course on Saturday of The International.

On top of all the action around the course, there will be fourteen fantastic races across both days. These races include the Crystal Cup series finale, in the 3:05 Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase on Friday 13th. On Saturday don’t miss The Caspian Caviar Gold Cup and The Unibet International Hurdle.

We are pleased to welcome HRH The Princess Royal representing as an owner on Friday with homebred Chequered View set to contest the CF Roberts Electrical & Mechanical Services Mares' Handicap Chase at 1:55. Read the full press release here

What to know the action from last year? Read the article in our annual Kalendar magazine.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend for what will be two fantastic days out at the Cheltenham races. Buy your official tickets in advance for the best price and save up to £5 off the on-the-day price.
