Retraining of Racehorses Parade
An RoR parade will be taking place on Saturday of Dubai Future Champions Festival.
Horses start making their way to the pre-parade ring from 12 noon before entering the Parade Ring at 12.30pm approx. The parade will last approximately 10 minutes.
The parade showcases the versatility of the thoroughbred together with the range of activities open to racehorses when they finish their racing careers, thanks to the work of Retraining of Racehorses (RoR). The parade features several horses that found their new owners and vocation via the Godolphin Rehoming scheme.
The parade includes Blair House who is now the ambassador for the Godolphin Lifetime Care programme and will be taking part in community and hospital visits. RoR annually stages over 40 separate competition series across 15 different disciplines, catering for all levels of ability, from grassroots to elite. The disciplines include dressage, showing, polo, eventing, show jumping, endurance, hunting and horseball.
