Having ridden over 2,500 winners across a career that has spanned 24 years, this week Ruby Walsh announced his retirement. He retires with more victories than any other jockey at Cheltenham's The Festival™ presented by Magners and with not one, but two wins in the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree Racecourse.

 

The pilot of such racing royalty as Kauto Star, Master Minded, Hurricane Fly and Hedgehunter, he departs our sport as one of the greatest Jump jockeys to have graced the weighing room.
