Horseracing lotto company, The Racehorse Lotto, has signed a commercial deal with The Jockey Club to become its official and exclusive lotto and raffle partner.

Under the terms of the partnership The Racehorse Lotto will co-brand with The Jockey Club, which operates 15 British racecourses, in marketing campaigns. The Racehorse Lotto offers players the opportunity to own a racehorse for a year and a wide variety of other prizes.

Since launching in March 2020, The Racehorse Lotto has raised over £100,000 for various charities including Racing Welfare, with 20% of all ticket sales going to the charity every month.

The partnership will be officially launched at this year’s Randox Grand National Festival with the first race on Opening Day tomorrow being run as The Racehorse Lotto Manifesto Novices’ Chase.

Hugh O’Donnell, Founder and CEO of Furlong Gaming, the parent company of Racehorse Lotto, said: “We are delighted to have signed a deal with The Jockey Club to become its official lotto and raffle partner.

“We’re confident this partnership will help us engage more customers and promote our products as we strive to support both the people and animals that make up the British horseracing industry.”

Alex Goldschmidt, Head of Business Development at The Jockey Club, said: “The Racehorse Lotto have made giant strides since launching and are committed to supporting our industry and Racing Welfare, so we are thrilled to be partnering with them for the next four years.
