Stud Tours for 2024 

 

Please read all the information below regarding exclusive tours that have been arranged for 2024. These tours and relevant offers are only for 2024 Annual Badge holders and therefore excludes guests.

 

All badge holders who register interest will be entered into a ballot, and names will be selected at random.

 

We hope to organise more tours in the future, however, appreciate there will be some disappointment.

 

To register your interest for any of the tours, please email newmarket.boxoffice@thejockeyclub.co.uk stating which tour you would like to be considered for. Please register before Sunday 5 May. Successful applicants will be contacted via email with further information and to finalise the booking.

Stud Tours 2024

Date: Wednesday 22 May


Time: 10.30 am (90 minutes)


The tour of the National Stud will last approximately 90 minutes and are taken by coach and on foot.

 

This 500-acre stud farm has a wonderful history and is home to resident stallions, including Stradivarius, and ex-racehorse legends such as Lord Windermere and The Tin Man.

 

Meet the visiting mares and their foals and find out what goes on behind the scenes in making potential future champions of the turf.

 

Cost: £13.50 per person


Please note: As a working stud the physical content of the tours varies throughout the year, depending on the season and the activities happening on the stud when you visit.

Date: Tuesday 4th June


Timings: Park at the Rowley Mile at 1.30 p.m. & board the coach ready to leave promptly at 1.45 p.m  

 

Tour Time: Takes 1.5 hours


Return times: Leave Cheveley Park Stud at 3.45 p.m. to return to Rowley Mile

 

Cost: £15 per person to cover the cost of the coach journey


More Info: Please note that transport to Cheveley Park is only via the coach, you will not be able to drive yourselves.

Date: Tuesday 11 June


Timings: Park at the Rowley Mile at 9.30 a.m. & board the coach ready to leave promptly at 10 a.m

 

Tour Time: Takes 2 hours


Return times: Leave Dalham Hall at 12.30 p.m. to return to Rowley Mile

 

Cost: £15 per person to cover the cost of the coach journey


More Info: Please note that transport to Dalham Hall is only via the coach, you will not be able to drive yourselves.

Date: Tuesday 23 July


Timings: Enjoy the morning visiting the impressive National Horseracing Museum at your leisure. The Museum opens at 10 am and your ticket includes access to all areas including Frankel’s trophies, Palace House and the Rothschild Yard where you are welcome to join the behind the scenes demonstration at 11 am.


Tour Time: 2 pm Meet your Guide in the Foyer of The National Horseracing Museum. You will then travel by mini-bus to Banstead Manor Stud to meet Frankel and some of the other Juddmonte Stallions


Return times: 3.30 pm Return to the National Horseracing Museum where you will be served a Cream Tea at The Tack Room (their onsite restaurant)


Cost: £99 per person


More Info: Please note that transport to Juddmonte is via organised mini-bus only. We are sorry you will not be able to drive yourselves.
