HELPFUL TICKET INFORMATION

You can purchase and download your tickets onto our Jockey Club App for all Cheltenham's race meetings:

• The Showcase (all enclosures)

• The November Meeting (excluding Club enclosure tickets on Saturday of The November Meeting)

• The International (for all enclosures) 

• New Year's Day (for all enclosures)

• Festival Trials Day (for all enclosures)

• The Festival™ (excluding Club enclosure tickets for all four days of The Festival)

• The April Meeting (for all enclosures)

• Race Night (for all enclosures, excluding the live music entry wristband)

Children under the age of 18 accompanied by a full paying adult will gain free admission to all racedays excluding Cheltenham Festival. At Cheltenham Festival a full-priced ticket must be purchased for children aged 5 and over.

Young persons under 18 are not permitted entry unless accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18).  You are responsible for each young person that you bring onto the Racecourse and ensuring they comply with these Conditions. Each accompanying adult (over 18) should be responsible for no more than two children under 18 years of age.

You must print your ticket before arriving at the racecourse. There will be no facility to print your tickets on the racecourse and a new ticket will need to be purchased. You will be able to purchase a print at home tickets and download these to the Jockey Club App.

Print at home tickets will be available for all raceday tickets which do you not require a swing badge or live music ticket entry. 

• Children of 17 years and younger receive FREE entry to the racecourse at all meetings excluding The Festival in March. Each child must be accompanied by an adult at entrances
• At The Festival, children under five years old receive FREE entry. All children five years old or over will need to pay full price 
• Please note that children who appear to look older than 18 may be asked for proof of I.D when entering the racecourse
• We are unable to provide complimentary tickets to coach or bus drivers

Raceday Essential Packages will go off sale one week before the raceday and are not available for app download. 

Group booking tickets will go off sale midnight the night before the raceday. 

Tickets for all enclosures will be available to purchase on our website or at our ticket selling points on the day of racing. These tickets can be downloaded to the app or collected as required. Tickets will be on sale on the website until three hours after gates open.

Please note that Raceday Essential Packages and Group Packages will not be available to purchase on the day.  

We strongly recommend that you do not purchase tickets from touts as your ticket may be declined at our entry gates. We have an injunction in place and are working with local police to reduce the effect touts have on our customer experience. We ask that you assist us by refusing to engage with them and report any suspicious activity to racecourse staff.

As part of ensuring our guests enjoy a safe environment while attending Cheltenham Racecourse, we carry out routine search procedures on arrival and restriction on bag sizes being entered into the Racecourse. Read our full bag policy here.

If your ticket is lost or does not arrive in the post you must contact the racecourse ahead of the raceday. Due to the volume of customers, we are unable to replace lost tickets on the day of racing and a new ticket will need to be purchased. If you have purchased a Best Mate or Tattersalls ticket, you are able to upgrade to Club Enclosure ahead of the raceday. Unfortunately, if you have purchased your enclosure ticket within a package, you are unable to upgrade to a different enclosure. 

If you would like to upgrade your ticket, you can do so on the day once you have gained entry to the relevant enclosure. There is a facility to upgrade your tickets in Best Mate Enclosure and for Tattersalls tickets holders from the Information Point.

Delivery depends on the enclosure and ticket type you are purchasing. If you are purchasing Hospitality, Raceday Essential Package, live music wristband (at Race Night) or Club enclosure ticket (that requires a swing badge - at The November Meeting Saturday and The Festival only), your ticket can only be posted or collect on the day. 

Postage costs:

There are two different postage delivery options:

• Secure delivery which requires a signature and tracked for £6.50* 
  • Customers will be sent a text message or email with delivery updates, which includes:
    1. Expected date and time of delivery within a three-hour window
    2. Confirmation on the day of delivery of the timing it'll arrive
    3. Confirmation if the package has been successful or attempted to be delivered and if the package needs to be collected
• Standard mail meaning the items are posted at the customer's risk for £2.00*

Print at home:

For enclosure tickets purchased seven days ahead of the event and require a swing badge, can only be purchased as collect on the day. This will cost £2*.

For all tickets that are being posted out, there is a £2 booking fee that will be added to your order.
