Recycle your Christmas tree at Cheltenham Racecourse!

Blog 12th December 2019 Cheltenham

Looking for somewhere to recycle your Christmas tree? We know it’s just under two weeks until Christmas, but we wanted to let you know you can recycle your old Christmas tree here at Cheltenham Racecourse in January 2020.

Climate emergency is a priority for Cheltenham Borough Council. Make sure all our Christmas trees are
composted and recycled locally. We want to make sure all Christmas trees are composted and recycled locally. From 6th – 20th January 2020, there are four locations around Cheltenham where trees can be recycled:

  • Cheltenham Racecourse
  • Cheltenham Football Club
  • Old Patesians Rugby Club
  • Cheltenham B&Q

We kindly ask you to free your trees from lights, decorations, pots, and stands. Any trees that are up to give feet / 1.5metres can be left out whole, however, any larger need to be cut down.
